I have not seen that shirt before. You're probably right -- it probably IS an "official" shirt. The Misfits' manager wrote me a few years ago asking to formally buy the rights to the artwork. I said that was fine -- since to be fair, it is their band, their logo, and even their likenesses in the image. So they paid me a little cash and it's theirs to use now, however they want.
