Microsoft’s annual technical conference for developers and IT professionals kicks off this week. I won’t be in attendance in Orlando, but I’ll be monitoring the proceedings through Microsoft’s extensive virtual feeds.

LugRadio Live USA
LugRadio Live USA 2008, A Linux discussion and BoF event, with speakers including Miguel de Icaza, Jeremy Allison, Ian Murdoch, and many others. Taking place at the Metreon in downtown San Francisco. Evening parties at the Thirsty Bear on Friday 4/11 at 8pm and at Jillian’s (inside the Metreon) on Saturday night at 8:30pm.

I turn 35 today. I know it happens because my health insurance premiums go up $20.

I become a British citizen
This Friday, February 15, I’m scheduled for a ceremony in which I will take the oath of citizenship for the United Kingdom. That’s right — I’m going to be a Canadian, an American, and a Brit!
Next stop: knighthood.
